Role Overview

NEEV India Trust is hiring an Area Operations Manager to lead large-scale field execution across designated territories. Reporting directly to state/national leadership, the Area Manager will oversee 10 Team Leaders and an extended workforce of 100+ Field Surveyors. This role is responsible for driving regional targets for plastic collection (at ₹20/kg), coupon/voucher redemption workflows, partner store integrations, and overall team performance across assigned zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Regional Leadership & Scale: Direct and manage 10 Team Leaders, ensuring seamless operational output across a combined field force of over 100 surveyors.
• Strategic Territory Planning: Map operational clusters, identify high-volume waste zones (commercial hubs, hotel corridors, residential sectors), and allocate team coverage to maximize collection efficiency.
• Volume & Financial Oversight: Monitor daily scrap collection weight metrics, audit credit voucher issuances, and prevent financial or inventory discrepancies across partner store networks.
• Partner Shop & Logistics Network: Manage relationships with partner retail outlets, ensuring inventory readiness for coupon redemptions and organizing centralized logistics for aggregated plastic waste.
• Performance Management & KPIs: Set weekly/monthly collection targets for Team Leaders, track key efficiency indicators, and conduct performance reviews.
• Field Audits & Compliance: Conduct surprise ground inspections to verify surveyor conduct, accurate weighing standards, and direct compliance with operational guidelines.

Candidate Eligibility & Terms

• Experience: 3–6 years of multi-team management experience in field sales, regional logistics, FMCG distribution, survey management, or large-scale field initiatives.
• Selection Policy: Strictly merit-based evaluation focusing on strategic execution, team scalability, and field management capability.
• Mobility & Relocation: High flexibility to travel extensively across assigned districts or deploy outstation. (Accommodation arrangements for outstation assignments are facilitated by NEEV India Trust; room rent is borne by the candidate).
• Core Skills: Regional planning, multi-tiered team leadership, operational auditing, basic analytics/spreadsheet reporting, and supply chain management.
