Role Overview

NEEV India Trust is seeking an energetic Field Operations Team Leader to manage, mentor, and drive a team of 10+ Field Surveyors across PAN India locations. The Team Leader will oversee day-to-day ground operations for our plastic recycling and shop-exchange initiative—ensuring daily target achievements in plastic waste collection (at ₹20/kg), voucher issuance, and partner store coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Supervision & Guidance: Directly manage, route, and monitor a field team of 10+ Field Surveyors to ensure high productivity and discipline on the ground.
• Target & Route Planning: Assign daily field routes (households, hotels, restaurants, and retail spaces) and drive target achievement for plastic waste acquisition and coupon distribution.
• Collection & Coupon Auditing: Supervise weight logs, verify plastic collection metrics, and cross-check store credit vouchers issued by surveyors to maintain transparency.
• Store & Logistics Alignment: Coordinate with local NEEV partner shops and distribution centers to ensure smooth redemption of exchange vouchers and timely transport of collected plastic.
• Performance Reporting: Track daily team metrics, map geographic coverage, and submit structured daily/weekly field reports to senior operations management.
• Field Training & Escalation: Conduct initial onboarding for new surveyors and resolve ground-level operational challenges or customer disputes in real time.

Candidate Eligibility & Terms

• Experience: 1–3 years of team lead or supervisory experience in field operations, collection drives, FMCG ground distribution, or survey management.
• Selection Process: Selection is purely merit-based, evaluating past leadership, field management capability, and operational discipline.
• Travel & Mobility: High willingness to undertake extensive field movement alongside the team.
• Outstation Deployment: Open to leading teams in outstation field locations as required. (Accommodation support is organized by NEEV India Trust; candidate covers individual room rent).
• Key Skills: Team leadership, ground-level problem solving, basic data monitoring (Excel/reporting apps), and strong negotiation skills.
